Easy for him to eat by himself without any help. The perfect size and shape. Very ergonomic for a toddler. These are great utensils.
My grandson has been wanting to feed himself. They are easy for him to hold. The fork won't stab food, but at least it won't stab him or anyone sitting by him either. Not with these. They are very safe for a little one learning to feed himself. We watched in fear whenever he grabbed a fork.
The spoon is the perfect size for his mouth and is a good step up from a baby spoon. They are well made, comfortable to hold and clean easily. I love these utensils for our 16 month old.
Others were too pointly for learning hands and the rest just didn't pick up food. After trying many of the brands, this fork is does 2 things really well, it stabs the food and it is not pointy.
Great utensils for people who have just had lap-band surgery and can only take in small amounts of food.
