Take a chance. Either buy them from a store near you or take a chance. Had to return mine due to a broken jug and will not take another chance for myself and Amazon. These jugs are not packaged properly for shipping inside their own slim box with only a slim piece of cardboard in between which does not keep them from hitting each other and everything else during shipping. And Amazon may or may not package it accordingly either. as that is what you will be doing.
the manufacturer needs to protect their product better if they want to sell it online. I would be amazed the glass can survive any type shipping, MINE DIDN'T. the packaging is paper thin cardboard & paper thin cardboard seperating the two bottles.
I wanted ice coffee during the hot summer months. These two glass containers were perfect for what I needed. These containers did just that. Again, my need was to keep ice coffee in the refrigerator and I didn't want it to take up a lot of space. The glass doesn't absorb the coffee stains or scent, easy to clean, and fits very well in the door of my refrigerator. The top lid doesn't fit snugly, but it keeps the coffee from smelling up the leftover food and it keeps the leftover food scents out of the coffee. What was that need you might ask.
Everyone who comes to my house wants them and I give them the link on amazon. These are the best, with all the news about the plastic water bottles my husband asked me to look for a glass pitcher (can't believe how hard to find a COVERED 1 or 2 liter pitcher).
Like others have said, the top does dribble when you do not carefully pour. These work well for our family as they are not too heavy and, with two, you can have two drinks available while not taking up much space. I bought these jars because I wanted something not made of plastic to avoid that plastic taste.
