Factory Reconditioned Cuisinart DBM-8FR Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill Reviews

I love the unit. I purchased this factory grinder from an on line clearing house at a good price for about the cost of a blade grinder. I think some of the reviewers want a high end product for middle pricing. This grinder does what I need, and at a very competitive price. Yes there is a very small amount of grinds that collect from static but if you want glass and no static, you should have purchased a more expensive unit. IF one taps the collector before taking off the lid, most the static grinds come loose and yes, one has to clean it out maybe once a week. I have had it three months and it replaced a Hamilton Beach blade unit I had for some 30 plus years.

This grinder does grind the beans reasonably well. Also, I recommend ordering this separate from other items, because Amazon's packers frequently do not adequately isolate multiple items [I had ordered peanut butter that had broken open and leaked all over and got into my grinder.although I do not think the oil spill caused the loudness. The plastic hopper also does tend to build up a static charge, preventing some of the grounds from pouring out.a scoop can be used, though. But, the device is SO loud that you will either need to leave the room.or.you can do what I do & use the following ear protection:. Milwaukee 49-17-3300 Heavy Duty Folding Ear Muffs, NRR 28 db. And the presets for coarseness and quantity function OK.worth 2 stars.

This is an awesome grinder. It came very quickly and in great condition. It is very easy to operate and since it shuts off at the amount of cups you specify, even those who wouldn't make the coffee before feel good about making a fresh pot for the office. For the price I spent, the level of coffee satisfaction was well worth it. Got it for my department at work and everyone is just raving at how much better the coffee tastes.

OK, it was really inexpensive, and ground coffee OK, but the noise level was unacceptable, and I'm a guy who works all day with woodworking machinery. You would definitely NOT want to run this machine with a hangover. WARNING. and gave it away, along with a pair of ear plugs. Domestic tranquility ensued. My usually-unflappable wife was approaching the "it goes or I do" point when I pulled the plug (figuratively, too).
