We really like it & would highly recommend it to everyone. This is a really nice knife to use, well balanced and comfortable.
Good quality and a great price. I do love the handle, it makes the knife virtually slip proof. This Rachael Ray knife is great.
If the knife had a full metal tang all the way to the tailpiece, it would be really nice but the handle is truly just plastic. I've used this knife for over a year and it has performed very nicely, up until the inner plastic handle broke. The soft grip is great for extended use. It did perform as well as much more expensive knives but it lacked the durability. I do not mind the orange color, it kind of grew on me. Now if I can just find out how to use the limited lfetime warranty hopefully they will replace it. Now it is held together by the urethane outer grip but broken on the inside.
Well this one is much lighter than my original one, it cuts extremely well and while the grip felt a little odd to me at first (compared to the one I was used to) I find that I really like it. I've had this knife for about 6 months now. I have another Santoku style knife that I love but for the deal another couldn't hurt, right. I find it is the one I reach for most often. Win - win. So, cuts great, lighter and easier to maneuver and comfortable to hold. It was a bonus item when I order one of the pans so of course I took it.
