The last set of steak knives we had came with a full tank at the Mobil station in '68. Plus if it means anything to you, they are made in Thailand; a Country that has been friends with us since Abe and the Elephants. I think the handle feels a bit funny for the first few times, but that will go away. These are great knives. One piece construction, good weight, sharp as hell. Time for a new set.
Awesome. I've had these for a few months now and so far am not disappointed. I use them on a daily basis, run them through the dishwasher sometimes (I usually hand wash my good knives) and so far they are still as shiny as the day I got them. Bought this set based on reading reviews off Amazon because as a steak lover, it was about time I got knives that don't make cutting through meat a chore.
I bought them. I favor Henkels knives for all of my kitchen cutlery. There is nothing more that I could ask of them. They clean easily. I love them. They cut smoothly and effortlessly. I saw the Henkel steak knives on Amazon.com for a very good price.
I'm buying 2 more sets of these, one as a spare for me and one for a gift. They are still sharp and I think they're great especially for the price. I love the fact that they are all one piece and stainless. I've never found any rust stains. I leave them in the sink in water and put them in the dishwasher too sometimes. I have a set I bought at least a year ago.
