Oxo Good Grips 10-1/2-by-15-Inch Utility Cutting Board, Black Trim
The Oxo Good Grips cutting board has soft, tapered grips for easy lifting and nonslip edges. Use both sides for cutting and you'll cut down on chances of cross contamination. Dishwasher-safe.
Quality kitchen tools can easily turn tedious meal preparation into a fun culinary experience. OXO's Good Grips utility cutting board has all the makings of a top-notch cook's aid. Crafted from thick polypropylene, the surface is durable, nonporous, and odor resistant; it is also impervious to deep scratches and maintains the sharp edges on kitchen knives. A juice groove around the perimeter of one side keeps liquids contained, and soft handles at either end make it easy to transport and keep it from slipping on the counter. The cutting board is designed to be used on both sides, doubling a cook's work capacity without adding bulk. Measuring 10-1/2 inches by 15 inches, this versatile size handles medium to large jobs. It is available in a range of handle colors and goes safely into the dishwasher between uses. --Kara Karll

Oxo Good Grips 10-1/2-by-15-Inch Utility Cutting Board, Black Trim Reviews
While it's not the greatest cutting board in the world, the Oxo Good Grips does what it's supposed to do and it does it pretty well. Just be aware that these bits of plastic aren't getting mixed in with your food. After a few months of use my board already has a few thin strips of plastic coming out from where I've cut on it repeatedly. My only complaint is that the plastic seems a little softer than some other higher quality cutting boards. The silicone feet hold the board in place well enough, even when the counter is wet, and they make the board easier to lift off the counter to put away.
You cannot see in the stock photo but the board. CONS:. Here's the bad news. PROS:.
To sanitize, I use half a lemon or lime,. Rinse with hot water and pat dry. These "grips" create a thin space between the board and the counter. board for when the family comes over to help prep a meal. I noticed it threw off my chopping "rhythm". I don't like to bother with returns so I've made this my back-up cutting. Also, because of this gap - each chop is pretty loud.
The board is just the right size for everyday use and looks great. has four very small pegs on each corner. * I have uploaded a macro shot of one of the corners. Although the board does not slip, it causes the board to. "bounce back" after each chop because it is not flush with the counter. dip into some salt and scrub the surface.
I'm a big OXO fan already. I would get another one without question. The pros outweigh the cons. The "grip" feet keep the cutting board in place when you use it. The only drawback is that the surface retains cut marks rather easily, which makes it vulnerable to quick deterioration. This cutting board has two usable sides - one is flat, the other has a shallow drip channel around the edges.
It is a nice size and easy to care for. I have an oxo knife set and can opener which I have been please with, so decided to try the cutting board.
I am very please with it. This one is just the right size and weight. I wanted something smaller and lighter than a regular cutting board.
