Rather than pull out the bigger version, this one allows for quick work, easy clean-up, and no-skid. Great for small jobs: dicing an onion or slicing a tomato.

 

As soon as this board was added to the rotation in my kitchen (which includes another "grippy" plastic board by a different manufacturer as well as several sizes of wooden boards), it became my favorite. This one receives at least twice the use, yet still looks at least twice as good. It seems to be holding up better than my other plastic board, which quickly became noticeably scratched, scarred, and stained. It's a very handy size, big enough for some serious chopping but small enough to handle and store easily. It grips the counter top well and has a good "feel" under the knife. It's always the first one I reach for.

 

I purchased one board, then another a year later. I only wish the groove (on one side) were a bit deeper to prevent meat juices from running off but It's fine for small items like tomatoes. The smooth surface is better than some that are rough because you can sweep minced items off the board without the blade catching. I don't worry about minor scoring from sharp knivesit cleans up easily in the dishwasher although I often handwash depending on what I have been cutting. It's just the right size for an onion, herbs or fruit.

 

Definitely a good deal for the price. With enough warped cutting boards to shake a stick at, I was pleased to find this one. Plus it is non-slip on a dry surface, of course. This cutting board is very good.

 

This cutting board was the perfect size for what I wanted. If you are going to use this for meat be careful to clean it thoroughly afterwards. Even cutting straight down with the knife cuts into the board. The only concern I have is that it seems rather easy to cut into. It looks good and stays put due to the rubber ends.
