Oxo Good Grips Flexible Vegetable Brush
Sometimes it's hard to tell that vegetables ever grew in the earth. Other times, especially with root vegetables, it's very evident and that's when more than a mere rinse is required. This nylon bristle brush fits comfortably in the hand and will scrub dirt away easily.
Carrots and potatoes, beets and broccoli--no matter how round, bumpy, or odd the surface, this brush's flexible body will follow the contours. The nylon bristles are strong and sturdy, dislodging dirt in deep nooks and crannies. The Good Grips line features durable, nonslip flexible handles on every product. Ergonomically designed to fit the palm comfortably and softly, the pressure-absorbing processed rubber handle puts less tension on the hands, while providing an outstanding grip. Made from the same material as dishwasher gaskets are constructed of, the handles are slip-proof, wet or dry, as well as dishwasher-safe. Good Grips products are moderately priced and have won the Tylenol/Arthritis Foundation Design Award. --Laurie Notaro

Oxo Good Grips Flexible Vegetable Brush Reviews
Reviewers who comment on the bristles being too soft must want or need a steel-wool pad instead. The bristles are *more* than firm enough and the brush itself is designed to facilitate ease of use when cleaning fruits or vegtables. If we had one suggestion that would be followed, the brush would be just a little larger. Oxo Good Grips Flexible Vegetable Brush.
I bought this brush mainly to bring an order total up to enough to get free shipping. But, not only was the brush fine, our Teflon coated Presto electric griddle was stain free. I was concerned that she ruined my brush. After a few uses, I have begun to wonder if I even need a veggie peeler. At Christmas, my daughter-in-law was doing some dishes (lovely girl) and she picked up my veggie brush and started to clean a griddle. After I "peeled" some carrots with it, and decided that is was a really neat tool.
This little brush was just the right size to fit in the palm of my hand and the bristles were strong enough to clean a potato but gentle enough to clean fruit.
I use this a lot for mushrooms and tomatoes, which are fairly soft to begin with. It's very easy to clean and survives the dishwasher (for 2 months so far at least). The ergonomics are great. I do feel that the bristles are a bit soft, but that's ok. However, I like to cook my potatoes with the skin on. This brush doesn't do the best job on hard, low-starch, waxy potatoes (small red potato, white fingerling) that you'd use for potato salads, for example. In most cases, I peel or remove the skin from tubers. It's rigid, but has a slightly rubberized, uniform grip.
I bet amazon will not publish this review. After over one month and with only a rude responce from amazon I still have not received my refund. Shame on amazon, rating 0 on scale of 0 to 10. I am sure I would have been happy with the products, but when amazon can't ship to my correct address then I can't receive them and use them and review them for you.
