But seems sturdy and like it will last a long time. A bit too rough on some nuts you have to be gentle.
I expect this one will last as long. In a recent move, I lost a good nutcracker I had for 30 years.
It works well with nuts though. It works pretty well although a few times I shot the shell halfway across the room.but that seems to happen with a lot of the nut crackers. I have not yet tried it on crab claws. I use this to crack walnuts.
The traditional OXO grips are a nice addition. This product works great, although I don't think I've used a crab cracker that didn't.
