NOw I know this is the pizzelle Iron I want, I will definately buy this one. This Pizzelle Iron looks like the one I have been looking for. Thank You, and Keep the quality made in USA products coming. This is what most of us are looking for, QUALITY at a fair price. It is not too often these days, that we can find, a USA quality item. Something you just know will last for years. I also appreciate very much, that it is made in the USA.
The second was to not loan this iron to anyone. My friend has both the original (like this one) and the teflon coated one. This iron is just like the one your (or your friend's) Italian grandmother has been using since the 50's. BTW - the irons from the early 50's had a typed note in them with 10 lines of instructions. The first line was to read all the instructions. She makes hundreds of pizzelles every Christmas. Plug in your iron, put on your apron & some italian music, mix up your batter (with some anise oil) and get ready to experience an Italian Christmas. She much prefers this one.
I believe it will last forever. This year I mixed up a gluten free version of the pizzelle batter and it worked perfectly. I'm sold on this iron. It works year after year, and you do not need the teflon coating - this is the one to buy.
