This product was purchased for work. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I tried giving it to someone after I got another from a Wine Rep and no one would even TAKE it. Everytime I atempted to use this, it split the cork, the screw part is very thick. The handle is uncomfortable in my hand and it is the WORST wine key I have ever used. I'm a server and do Wine Service at least ten times a night.
This corkscrew is the perfect item for a kitchen or bar. I highly recommend this corkscrew to everyone as a kitchen/bar staple. Considering the price, this is a great value and won't disappoint. The rubber body makes for a comfortable hand hold and won't slip easily. It is a nice medium weight and the metal pieces feel solid and well made.
This works better than the $100 laguioles I used as a waiter in 5 star restaurants. Perfect tool at a fantastic price. Quite simply, you'll never need another corkscrew.
Would be much better if it was. Works well but the foil knife is ot serrated.
This opener made the job a pleasure with no resistance at all. I stayed clear of other openers, which always seemed to make the task at hand difficult. This little gem provided an easy experience in opening wine bottles.
