Pfaltzgraff Winterberry Gravy/Sauce Pitcher

Introduced in 2005 to coincide with the 15th anniversary of the Winterberry pattern, this 20-ounce pitcher holds enough maple syrup, gravy, or favorite sauce for the whole family. The pitcher matches a wide range of popular Winterberry dinnerware and serving ware with its delicate sprays of green holly leaves and red berries on a snowy white background. While there is no designated saucer, the Winterberry dessert plate serves admirably underneath to catch drips. Though the overall effect of Winterberry is a clean, dainty look, the pitcher is actually made of durable stoneware and can safely heat syrup or gravy in the oven or microwave, chill dessert sauces in the freezer or refrigerator, and pop into the dishwasher for cleanup, a definite convenience during the busy holidays. This gravy pitcher was purchased to go with the entire Winterberry dinnerware set. All pieces came intact and without flaws. This is not fine china, this is quality stoneware that looks elegant due to the delicate decor. Every piece purchased was on sale making it easier to buy extra pieces. It is one of my favorite pieces.
The size is great. Overall I like the Pfaltzgraff Winterberry Gravy/Sauce Pitcher. I recommend this product. It would be nice to have a small plate under it. I do not need to leave the table to refill the gravy during a Sunday meal. It does drip some around the edges when pouring. It is a little Christmasy but I decided to use it anyway outside of the holidays.
Larger than a cream pitcher but not overly large. This was a perfect size for serving gravy for my holiday turkey.
This pitcher is adorable. Very nice piece. It's perfect for gravy at dinner or milk at dessert. I love it. I never saw it sold anywhere else and had to have it in my Winterberry collection.
Shipping was flawless no breakage, Thanks Amazon, Happy Holidays. I was not sure what the size would be, but it was adorable and so round like a little pitcher. I can now fill this up with less trips to the kitchen and no spills at the table. I wanted a larger server for tomatoe sauce with out having to make a dozen trips back to the pot.
