It is best if you wet the outside of the meat-ball with cold water before shaping it. The Teflon coating does not seem to prevent the meat from sticking to the sides. The device is a press-and-release burger-patty maker which requires you to screw it (up or down), by hand, to adjust the size of the meat-patty.
