Presto 04830 PowerPop Microwave Multi-Popper
Make the most of your microwave's ability to pop corn with this special bowl and base. You'll find the corn pops faster and there are far fewer "old maids" left in the bottom.
Sized to fit most microwave ovens, including compacts, this popcorn maker pops virtually every kernel of 3 quarts of popcorn in about 2-1/2 minutes. And it works with or without oil and/or salt. That means no more of the unpopped, scorched kernels typically left behind when popping bagged corn. The popcorn maker uses two innovations that concentrate microwave radiation onto the popcorn. First is a removable base that locks onto the transparent bowl. Second is a disposable paper cup that fits into the bowl's bottom. A package of eight cups accompanies the unit, and others can be purchased separately--each is good for about 12 batches when used with oil or 24 without oil. Both bowl and lid are dishwasher-safe. The popcorn maker is 9-3/4 inches in diameter and 6 inches high and carries a two-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

Presto 04830 PowerPop Microwave Multi-Popper Reviews
I have to re-order the cups used to hold the popcorn and oil but this can be done at presto.com. I bought this product as a gift. We use it almost daily. A bag of popcorn is a little over a $1 and makes much more than 3 bags as sold on the shelves. You only need 1/3cup, so the bag makes many bowls of popcorn. All the kernals pop and it is quick and easy.and cheap. I already own one and love it.
We don't like air popped corn, so when I saw this I was pretty excited. I've made 3 batches so far and am still on the first "concentrator". I only took off one star because of the disposable concentrators; they should find a way to make some that are durable. You also have to listen to make sure you turn it off when the popping slows.
My husband is very serious about wanting popcorn as a snack, and we've gone through 3 stir-crazy popcorn makers in less than 3 years because he has popcorn nearly every night. Anway, I used 1/3 cup of Orville Redenbacher yellow and a bit over 1 tb oil, and it popped beautifully. Perfect, perfect popcorn. Otherwise, if you are serious about your popcorn, this is the gadget to have. Nearly every kernal popped, and there was no burning.
We used it in our microwave, which is one of the biggest counter-tops available - perhaps that's why some of the others have had trouble, because it probably needs room around it for circulation or something.
i was surprised how well this worked with the power concentrator (available from manufacturer for only $1.53 pack of 8) and will be able to stop using the diactyl laden microwave popcorn bags. this popped almost all the popcorn in 2 min 45 seconds vs the microwave bags that took 3.5 minutes.
It is less expensive to make popcorn this way then with the microwave bags and much healthier and lower in calories. I have purchased it as a gift and the recipiant enjoyed it so much that she purchased it for several members of her family. I love this product.
