R H. Forschner by Victorinox 10-Inch Chef's Knife, Black Fibrox Handle Reviews

this knife really does the job. I'm a big guy and when I cook I like to cook big. This is a quality knife at a good price A lot of people are afraid of a big knife so don't be surprised when your guests express shock when you pull it out of the knife block. I find myself reaching for it first, passing over the Henkels knives. The blade is a bit more flexible and the Fibrox handle gives the knife a solid feel even when wet. For cutting up onions, beef, carrots, etc.

I would definitely buy this product again. Lightweight, large, and very sharp. This is the best knife I have ever used.

It doesn't have the heft or the feeling of luxury that I get from something like Henkels, but it has a nice, rigid blade, decent balance, comfortable grip, and it cuts nicely. Highly recommended for the price. This is my traveling knife for cooking while visiting friends with less-well-equipped kitchens or doing demos (in my home kitchen, I have a mix of Henkels, Wuesthoff, and some Chinese cleavers), and I'll certainly add a few others to my kit. In other words, it is functionally absolutely correct, if not luxurious. For 1/3 the price, I'll skip luxurious. Very easy to keep sharp with a steel.

The 10 inch sticks up out of my knife holder. I now wish I had purchased the 8 inch one. This is a great knife.
