We bought this item as a gift, as daughter liked ours and wanted her own.
I think they were both worth the money. I have not had any problems with this one, or with the smaller one i bought. I love the Revere saucepans and cannot find them anywhere else.
I had the same one before, and it's a standard (until my roommate boiled it dry and forgot about it) I suppose I shouldn't have thought it did, since it's not in the picture. Otherwise it's a great pot. Just wanted to tell people that despite the statement "Stainless steel vessels and lids for lasting beauty" in the description, this pot DOES NOT come with a lid.
I also have always liked Revere ware - I have a frying pan which I like - everything cooks so evenly. This one fits the bill. She is very satisfied with it and uses it quite a bit. I purchased this sauce pan for my sister who has some health problems and was looking for a pan that wasn't too heavy to lift.
