Revere 2000 Line 2-Quart Covered Saucepan
Revere, 2 QT Stainless Steel Covered Saucepan, Aluminum Disc Bottom.
Classically straight-sided, this 2-quart saucepan is perfect for making sauces, heating soups, and preparing countless other foods. The phenolic handles and knob are oven-safe to 350 degrees F, so the pan can be used to braise or warm foods in the oven under its tight-fitting lid. Revere's Tri-Ply cookware is made of handsome, mirror-finish, 18/10 stainless steel. Each pot or pan has an aluminum disk in its bottom to spread heat quickly and evenly. The disk is sandwiched between layers of stainless steel, so the exterior finish still offers an easy cleanup. The pan has a loop on its handle for hanging on a hook or peg, carries a 25-year warranty against defects, and should be hand washed. --Fred Brack

Revere 2000 Line 2-Quart Covered Saucepan Reviews
I hadn't purchased new Revereware in years as my old set is still very functional but I needed an extra pan that the steamer basket would fit. Much cheaper on Amazon. I will likely purchase a full set of Revereware flatbottom pots & pans to replace my old copper bottoms. Pan sits flat on the cooktop for even cooking (unlike my copper-bottom old set). I am impressed with Revereware's newer 'flat bottom' cookwareperfect if you have a smoothe top range, which I now have.
Would love to see a photo. I'm not sure how this pot can possibly be "13 x 10 x 8 inches", as stated in the description, and still hold only 2 quarts.
Although it's inexpensive, it's very well made. It cooks evenly and cleans easily. This pot has outlasted every other piece of cookware I own.
Is it because of my smooth-surface electric stove. Whatever - if you can get used to the wobbling it does have its advantages; fast heat conduction, light-weight and easy to clean. Although I like the lightness of Revere saucepans, I always wonder why they like to rock.
