Most Spode is top but not this line. Although Spode, the Woodland pattern is a poor product and for Amazon not a reasonable value, just not worth returning.
I had usually found Spode to be very expensive and I always wanted a turkey platter for my Thanksgiving table. I think finding hand-painted china these days is a thing of the past, but for something practical on your table without the hassle and if it breaks, you not out $150.00 bucks. It's dishwasher safe which is a plus. When I received the platter this week, I thought it was beautiful and practical. I found this price point to be very acceptable.
It was made in China and the turkey looks as if it were generated by a computer. This platter is a cheap imitation of the Royal Worcester Palissy Game Series china.
