Steam Control 12-Quart Surgical Stainless-Steel Stockpot Reviews
the pot is nice, it is heavy and very durable, however, it has a steam control valve on the top of it and it did not come with any insturctions or papers of anykind, I can not find it online because there is no manufactures name on it at all.
The workmanship, on the pot, is first class. I received this pot four days ago and was impressed when I unpacked it. The loose fitting lid is the reason for the three stars, and that loose lid really does negate the waterless feature. But, since I bought the pot mainly to have a large stock pot, I'll keep it because it is a heavy duty, quality stainless steel pot with a excellent thick bottom which maintains even heat. The pot is described as being a "Steam Control" pot, and has a knob on the lid that can be turned to either seal the steam inside or vent the steam. But, in my first use of the pot I soon saw that the lid does not quite fit the pot, which allows steam to escape around the rim of the lid, negating the "closed-open" feature of the knob on the lid. The stainless steel finish looks great, and the pot is very sturdy with a five ply heavy bottom.
