If you are interested in waterless cooking this may be an excellent product and therefore it shouldn't be advertised as a spaghetti cooker (unless some genius can cook spaghetti without water). This means it has a very thick bottom designed to retain heat for low temperature heating. I couldn't get it to keep a rolling boil going using the highest heat setting on my stove. This item shouldn't be used to boil spaghetti because it is designed for waterless cooking.
