yea. It reads fast - easy to keep clean and very accurate. I know have gotten my wife to use it and now she doesn't cook chicken until it is a dry hunk anymore. Great little thermo - I've used this for the past year and given several as gifts for the cooks in the family.
Making sure the food I fix for my family is cooked safely is important and this Taylor Commercial Thermometer does the job. It is super for those thin pieces of food like Hambergers. This Thermometer is easy to use and easy to clean being waterproof.
There is no way my steak is 350 degrees right now. When it was 60 degrees outside, just having it turned on with no source of heat/cold other than the air outside, it told me it was below freezing. impossile to get a reading.
Much cheaper than I could purchase anywhere else. The thermometers were just what we needed for our work.
